The JC Players

Annice Auriemma  has been in JC Productions such as Into The Woods (Little Red Riding Rood), The Wizard of Oz
(Dorothy),  played the drums in
The Fantasticks, Mame (Patty), Cinderella (2nd grade girl), You¹re A Good Man, Charlie
Brown
(Woodstock), Once Upon a Mattress (Jester) and Fiddler on the Roof (Chava). She is currently enrolled in Frank
Sinatra School of the Arts.  

Austin Auriemma has previously appeared in Into The Woods as Jack, The Wizard Of Oz as a Munchkin /Ozian,
Mame as Young Patrick, A Funny Thing  Happened on the Way to the Forum as a Protean, Cinderella as the Page,  
Grease as Roger, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying as Ovington, Schroeder in You're a Good Man,
Charlie Brown,
Harry in Once Upon a Mattress and Fiddler on the Roof as Sascha.  He has also appeared in the
Forest Hills High School productions of
A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum as Hysterium and How To
Succeed in Business Without Really Trying
as Finch. Austin is currently attending Queens College and was recently
seen in their production of
Anything Goes.  

Barbara Auriemma has been with the JC Players since 1996. She previously portrayed Sonia in Godspell, Adelaide in
Guys & Dolls ‘96, Hedy LaRue in How to Succeed, The Baker’s Wife in Into The Woods and a one-performance stint
as Miles (don't ask) in
Forum. She has directed the JC productions … A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The
Forum, Cinderella, The Fantasticks, Grease, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, Into The Woods,
Little Shop Of Horrors, Mame, Once Upon A Mattress, Wizard Of Oz
and Fiddler on the Roof. Barbara is an active
member of the Community UM Church where she sings in the choir and is co-coordinator of the very successful
CUMC Parents’ Cooperative Playgroup. Barb extends a special “Thank You” to husband Frank and good friend
Chrissy for all their help in making this production a success.

Frank Auriemma previously appeared in the Jubilee Cluster Player roles as Pseudolous in A Funny Thing Happened
On The Way To The Forum
, Judas in Godspell, Nathan Detroit in Guys & Dolls, Finch in How to Succeed in Business
without Really Trying
and The Baker in Into The Woods. Frank has been heard as musical director for the previous JC
productions, such as
You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Cinderella, The Fantasticks, Grease, Mame, The Wizard Of
Oz, Fiddler on the Roof
and cabaret shows. He has been teaching band and chorus for the last twenty-five years for
the New York City Department Of Education. As musical director/ organist for the Community United Methodist Church
since 1989, Frank is truly at *home* directing, composing and singing unto the Lord!

Frank B. Auriemma  served as Music Director for the JC productions (Once Upon A Mattress, Guys and Dolls). Past
and favorite credits include the following: Motel in
Fiddler on the Roof (2008), Gangster/Hortensio in Kiss Me Kate
(2005), Rapunzel's Prince/Wolf in
Into The Woods (2004), Scarecrow in The Wizard Of Oz (2003), Ito in Mame(2001),
Hysterium in
A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum (2000), Doody in Grease (1999), Herald in
Cinderella (1998), and Linus in You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown (1997). In real life, he takes on many roles: Music
Instructor for developmentally disabled adults at AABR (Association for the Advancement of Blind and Retarded),
Minister of Music for the Glendale United Methodist Church, and graduate student at Hunter College, for which he is
currently obtaining his Master's Degree in Music Education with only a year to go. Additionally, he acts as fiancé to his
Laura, who will both be wed in June of 2010.


Alicia Brosky considers herself most blessed to be a part of the JC Players!  Her community theatre/college credits
include the title role in
Cinderella, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Lucy), How to Succeed... (Smitty), Godspell,
Forum (Protean), Grease (Rizzo), The Fantasticks (Luisa), the title role in Electra, Into the Woods (Witch), The Pajama
Game
(Mae), Once Upon a Mattress (Winnifred), Guys and Dolls and Company (Amy). Alicia received her Bachelors
degree from Queens College in Drama, Theater and Dance as well as her Masters Degree in Elementary Education.
She currently teaches at P.S. 81 in Ridgewood. She is thankful everyday for her wonderful family, friends and above all,
her husband and love of her life, Chris.

Christopher Brosky joined the JC Players in 2003 as a “behind-the-scenes-guy” designing sets and “fiddling” with the
lighting.  He has worked on several shows such as
The Wizard of Oz, Into the Woods, Little Shop of Horrors (as the
puppeteer behind Audrey II), made his acting debut as Prince Dauntless in Once Upon a Mattress and continued
acting as Officer Brannigan in
Guys and Dolls and Perchick in Fiddler on the Roof.   This past May he took on a new
role as husband to the beautiful Princess Alicia.  He hopes to continue to do more shows in the future.  



Laura Cetti is happy to be making her JC Players debut in “Godspell” and even happier to be returning to the stage for
the first time in over EIGHT YEARS!!!  Favorite roles include All the Rage (Annabel), Joseph and the Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat (Narrator), The Tempest (Ariel), The Wiz (Glinda) and Nunsense (Sister Robert Anne).  This
show is for the one-and-only Enzo Cetti!  Hope you like it sweet boy!



Georgia DeFalco is pleased to be making her debut with the JC Players! The vocal and drama director at the High
School for Environmental Studies in midtown for the past 8 years, Georgia has Master's Degree's in Educational
Theater and theater from City College and Hunter. Georgia co-founded the non-proft Statement Arts, found at
Statementarts.org, with the mission of bringing the arts to underserved populations. She would like to thank Barbara
and the amazing cast and crew, especially Frank for encouraging her to become involved. She and her husband John
will be celebrating their one year anniversary on August 9!



Jubie Figueroa is joining the JC Players for the first time this season.  She was recently seen in Shakespeare’s As
You Like It and Show Business (Anton).  She hopes to return next year!





Joseph Hellmann joined the JC Players with a small part in Suds 2, played Harry the Horse in Guys and Dolls and
Lazar Wolf in
Fiddler on the Roof. Outside of the Players, Joey works on the writing staff at Marvel Comics, as a Pitch
FX operator for Major League Baseball, and also a part time DJ/MC. He wants to send all his love and thanks out to
the entire group for making him feel so welcome. He also wishes to extend love and thanks to his beautiful wife Kristin
Miller and his entire family especially his baby niece Faith Hellmann. Have fun everyone and Enjoy the Show!!!


Kristin Hellmann (Tzeitel) has been in shows such as Once Upon a Mattress, Little Shop of Horrors, Into the Woods as
Rapunzel, Glinda in
The Wizard of Oz and Sally Cato in Mame. When she took  on the challenge of Tzeitel, the oldest
of the four daughters in
Fiddler on the Roof, Kristin found this unusual, as she is actually the youngest of Richie's four
daughters. Outside of the group, she is the Archivist at the American Bible Society. She continues to fulfill the role of
Aunt to her cutie patooties, Emily, Richie, Jack, Charlotte, and her and Joey's newest niece, Faith. Finally, this will be
Kristin's last year with the group...as a Miller. This Tzeitel married the Butcher Lazar Wolf and became Mrs. Joey
Hellmann on March 20th, 2009. She sends her love to the entire group and to everyone in the audience. Enjoy the

Charles Hinz is a veteran of the JC Player productions… having been in the group since that very first summer.
Besides the current production, Charlie is an attending physician with his own practice at 315 Graham Ave. over in
Williamsburg. He is also a private attending at Wyckoff and Parkway hospitals, and continues to practice with Dr.
Langman on Myrtle Ave. and 74th St. Every year he still continues his tale telling activities, his friendships with the JCP
"lifers," and everyone from the crew. He even sees his Chrissy and his little Cheezo occasionally too! So… thanks for
coming, sit back, and enjoy the show!

Christine Hinz's credits include Guys and Dolls, Little Shop of Horrors and all the rest of the J.C. Player productions as
far back as
How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. When she's not on the J.C. Player stage she's busy
being wife and office manager to Dr. Charlie as well as mom to Lil' Cheezo. Special thanks to Barbara our director for
putting this all together and putting up with all of our nonsense, and also to Nanny and Pa for all their babysitting duty.
To Charlie and Charlie, you know I love you.



Laurie Kim has been a member of the JC Players since 1995.  She has appeared as Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, a
Protean in
Forum, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Cinderella in Into the Woods, Jan in Grease, the Cowardly Lion in
the Wizard of Oz,
Once Upon a Mattress and Godspell.  Right now her favorite role in the world is "mommy" to the littlest
JC Player - her son, Jacob.  



Brittany Licitra is a ten year old Middle Village girl. She hopes to be a teacher some day. But for right now she spends
her time in batons, art club and girl scouts. She is extremely excited to be part of the JC Players for the first time as
Shprintze in
Fiddler on the Roof.



Jayronn Miller is no stranger to the stage, as this will be his 4th acting performance with many more coming! Jayronn
has been in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying playing the role of Bratt, co-starring with Austin, playing
Finch, in High School. At Baruch College he did two shows, Hooters, and Laundry and Bourbon/Lonestar. This is a
career he is looking to get into because he loves performing for the audience. This cast in particular, is a great group,
fun to work with, and he enjoyed each of the rehearsals. Shoutout to Barbara for her patience while putting this
together! =] Enjoy the show.


Richard Miller is back for his 11th season with the J.C.P. and wants to thank everyone for allowing him to have a lot of
fun, and keeping him young. He comes from Andrews UMC in Brooklyn where he was a veteran of many shows and
revues including the roles of the Tinman in the
Wizard of Oz, and the Ghost of Valentines Past in Scrooge Valentine.
He also played parts in
Caught in the Villains Web, South Pacific and On The Air. He’s a 50 year member of Andrews
Choir and member of the handbell choir. He finally got to play the role of Tevye in
Fiddler on the Roof, a part he’s
always wanted to play. He wants to thank Barbara and the group for allowing him to fulfill a dream. It’s even more
special having his daughter play along with him. Thanks to my wife for putting up with my constant singing and to
everyone for their support and help.



Dennis Popp has played various roles over the years in shows such as Guys and Dolls, Godspell, Cinderella, How to
Succeed…, Grease, Mame, The Wizard of Oz
and Fiddler on the Roof.   Dennis hopes everyone enjoys watching
these shows as much as the JC Players enjoy performing them.  




Melanie Pozarycki married her sweetheart Robb in October 2007. She has been in numerous JC Player productions,
including Guys and Dolls, Godspell and Little Shop of Horrors. She is also a member of the Grace Notes choir. When
she is not on stage, she is entertaining her preschoolers at Redeemer Lutheran School. She loves working with the
cast and can't wait what the JC Players have in store for the future!





Robert Pozarycki is the JC Players official "laugh track" and photographer.  He is a reporter for the Ridgewood Times
Newsweekly.



Nora Rivers is a first time performer as Shandel in Fiddler on the Roof.  She is 46 years young, the mother of Ian and
she grew up attending Glendale United Methodist. She has participated for many years in the church's choir, cabaret
and Christmas performances. She decided to join the JC Players to my explore her passion of performing arts. She
enjoys performing but does it for fun ( She would not quit her daytime job!) She is a Senior Accountant working
towards my Certification.

Veronica Stoltze is making her debut with the JC Players.  She is thrilled to be a part of their theatre family.  Ronnie is
the co-founder of the Duo “No Matter What” playing an eclectic variety of popular music.

Shawn Sweeney  is a veteran JC Player.  His stage credits include  Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, Danny Zuko in
Grease, Hero in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, the Tinman in The Wizard of Oz and Seymour in
Little Shop of Horrors.  Shawn recently moved to Chicago and we wish him the best (as long as he comes to see all
our shows!!!)

Gina Vollmer has been in Once Upon A Mattress (Princess; Nightingale), Guys and Dolls (Hot Box Doll) and The
Wizard of Oz
(Crow).

Kristin Weiss is celebrating her 10th year with the JC Players. She is rounding this decade playing the dead woman
Fruma Sarah or the 80 year old matchmaker, Yente depending on the performance! Her past credits include:
townsperson (
Cinderella), Patty Simcox (Grease), Gymnasia (Forum), Gloria Upstein (Into the Woods), Urchin (Little
Shop
), Lady Larkin (Once Upon a Mattress), and Sarah Brown/Mission Member (Guys and Dolls). Offstage, KJ has her
MA in Psychology and works as a clinical evaluator for Zucker Hillside Hospital (LIJ). She sends hellos, love and
thanks to her family, Christian :), and to all the Players (including a new edition!)
